the Great and Fear Inspiring Day (is come and gone)

Our Notice Board

Week 7 is history!  The class received their assignments after a stressful week waiting and a very stressful Friday REALLY waiting. …. and that’s all we’ll say about that.

This morning (Sat) brother Ramseyer came in to do our Morning Worship and gave a service talk.  He has had an amazing career in the service!  25 years in missionary work and some 40 years in the Branch!  His stories were faith building for sure.  We almost couldn’t bring ourselves to let him go and get on with our meeting.

We had unexpected visitors this week.  First of all, brother and sister Pintar came in for a visit at noon.  He is the first Circuit Overseer I remember having.  He was my hero when I was 10!  Very nice to see them again (although he most certainly did not remember me!)

Next day our new food crew included … Joy Barclay!!  We have barely crossed paths with her in
years. For those that don’t know her, we pioneered together in Sherbrooke over thirty years ago, before we were married.  She was one of the Special Pioneers there then.  We had a nice lunch together and caught up a bit. It goes too fast …..

Just a couple of quick ones today:

Brother Ramseyer said : Trust in Jehovah and relax. Or trust in yourself and worry.  Easy decision.

Brother Charland: comment on Eph 5:15-1)  keep strict watch that how you walk … because the days are wicked.   –  In a dog park do you keep strict watch how you walk?  The World is a dog park.

We are now off to a class BBQ!  Next week is the BIG ONE!
